This short video demonstrates the attachment of a Yakima bicycle carrier on the back of a 2007 Toyota Yaris. A couple of tips: Clean the car first, and make sure there's no debris trapped under the pads before you attach the carrier; the paint will be scratched visibly by dirt or gravel. Tighten the straps by pulling the strap towards the buckle with one hand while simultaneously pulling the free end tight with your other hand. This leads to a much tighter strapping. Stop after a mile of driving and tighten the straps again. They ALWAYS loosen from the weight of the whole assembly settling into place. Once tightened a second time, you are usually good to go for hundreds of miles. Remember that the bike rack is not secured to the car with any sort of lock. A thief could easily remove the whole assembly and take the rack off the trunk, along with your bicycle[s] if you have left them mounted. Take care to prevent this. The rack and bicycles[s] will not substantially obstruct your view of the road or of traffic, nor will your lights be blocked from view. However, it's a good idea to double-check that the area is clear before backing. I hope this is useful! Rick
